Beauty Envy Bag
Are you a beauty sample
subscriber? Never heard of the Beauty Envy Bag? That is because it is something
new the four of us beauty bloggers decided to put together. The Fall Edition is
the inaugural Beauty Envy Bag. This is what a beauty bag of goodies should look
like. Full sized items, deluxe samples (not tiny bits of product swiped onto a
card), and with a beauty bag so nice you can wear it on a night out. Luxe
brands fill this bag. This was a lot of fun for us to put together, choosing
items the we have used and love and being able to share them with one of you.
This is something we hope to do quarterly, so look out Winter Edition!
Since some of you
reading this may not know all of the bloggers involved, we would love to
introduce ourselves:

ReplyDeleteI enjoy that the contents are a surprise each time. I don't enjoy the tiny samples, they should definitely be bigger!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites from the bag are all the Zoya nail polishes! I love that brand. I don't really have a dislike but I guess my least favorite is the make up for ever aqua liner just because I don't know if I can pull that off.
ReplyDeleteMost favourite would be the element of surprise, kind of like opening a Christmas stocking... my least favourite would be not getting enough variety.

ReplyDeleteI like it, that I don't know what I'm getting. It's like unpacking gifts on Christmas Eve. I don't like it, when they pack in about 5 samples and two of them are mini sized perfume samples. I can get these samples for free at my perfume reseller, I don't need to pay 10 dollar for these. I also hate these little sachets I can find in magazines, when I have paid for the box/bag.

ReplyDeleteLaKeisha this looks awesome! My least favorite thing about beauty bags would be the mascara. My eyelashes are SUPER curly and I don't even bother with using it sometimes since it will make like 3 of the lashes go haywire. LOL The lengthening ones are the worst. And my favorite thing about beauty bags are trying out things at a big discount before you fork over money for something that you don't like.

i really enjoy getting personalized products and a full-size here and there! what i enjoy least would probably be the element of surprise... i love to know what's coming so i can plan what to use first :)

ReplyDeleteMy most favorite thing about beauty bags is receiving full and/or deluxe samples. My least favorite is receiving items that I can't use (for curly hair, darker skin, etc.)
ReplyDeleteOoo a new beauty bag! Awesome! I really dislike the sample sizes that are one time use. Its hard to know if I really like something in one use. This beauty bag looks freaking awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love the surprise factor and the chance to try new things, but after a while I end up with a lot of stuff. Ive cancelled all the boxes and bags Ive subscribed just to take a break.

ReplyDeleteI love so much about this. The only downfall is that there's not more of these already! Things I love about beauty bags and boxes is that it's like Christmas year round! I don't like that sometimes you can't control what you get in them.

ReplyDeleteI don't like that the color/shade of some products might not work well with my skin, which could make samples unusable. Or if the sample size is barely enough for one use.

ReplyDeletebut, I've gotten a couple of the Target beauty bags and they were awesome. I love trying out new products, so it gave me a chance to do that for free :)
i love polishes in bags! and i rarely like perfumes. i am super picky about perfume so they are almost always wasted on me!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite things about beauty bags is when they come early and have something I can use inside of it like nail polish is a favorite to have inside.The thing I dislike is bags is a coupon and they say its a gift card but you have to spend over $50-100 dollars to get 10-25 dollars off.That is not a gift card its a coupon.
ReplyDeleteI love Beauty bags, I don't like the teeny tiny samples though. give me enough to use a couple of times to get a real feel for the product!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how with some, you get a variety of samples in things you'd never try, however, I do wish that some would let you pick the type of products you received that way you're guaranteed to get something you'd use or wanted to try. Not saying that you would pick what, exactly, it is you want, but a general overview that way your disappointment is kept to a minimum.

Pshhh, what could I HATE about beauty bags?! Maybe sometimes I end up getting a few things that I unfortunately don't end up using for one reason or another, and I feel bad :( But otherwise I loveee getting new products to try out :))

ReplyDeleteI have just recently been introduced to beauty bags and boxes (I'm a late bloomer. LOL) I love the "beauty" of beauty boxes...such a great concept. As women we've all had that moment where we've bought something from the store that we were in love with...only to realize we hate it once we try it out. Beauty boxes are a great way to receive great stuff and try it out to see if we like the products. I can't think of anything I don't like about the idea...except the fact that I didn't think about it myself!! LOL Keep up the good work ladies...loving your blogs!! :)

ReplyDeleteGirls, you totally understood our drama! My favorite thing about beauty bags, I mean, a few of them is when I noticed there´s a supplier-consumer serious respect. And this we see by the products presented. It also explains what I don´t like: seeing a bunch of uncoordinated things put together to simulate an important volume, and making us feel like lab rats and pigs, instead of fashionable and beauty engaged ladies.
ReplyDeleteI love getting to try new things(I've found my HG face wash from a beauty box) but I hate samples that are so small you can only use the product once so you can't even really evaluate how well it works.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite is all the nail polish, and my least favourite would be the liner as I dont wear a lot of it.
ReplyDeleteI love beauty bags as you get to try out new things that you normally wouldn't try, lets you get out of your comfort zone. I don't like that a majority of beauty bags give teeny tiny samples, so you can't tell if you truly like the product or not.
