China Glaze Sun Worshipper & Broken Hearted
Hey dolls, the theme for this past week was neon to help celebrate the first days of summer. I decided to go really, really bright with this mani. Because neons can be somewhat hard to apply, I started with a base of
Sally Hansen White On. I used 3 coats of
China Glaze Sun Worshipper to even out all of the streaks. This color is a bright, neon orange...and I do mean bright...think orange hi-lighter bright. As most neons, this dried semi-matte.

I didn't really like the way it looked by itself, so I decided to add
China Glaze Broken Hearted Crackle.

This was definitely a fun look. My nails got lots of attention as I was shopping yesterday. I like the color contrast of the pink and orange! I really need to get some polish thinner though...this crackle has gotten so thick since I first used it a few weeks ago. I could only do thick coats, which is why the cracks aren't as big as I would like. I want a couple of the new ChG metal crackles...but I really don't use them that much. Maybe after this untrieds challenge...
BTW...I just realized I've surpassed 100 followers!!! Woohoo!!! My very first giveaway will be posted very soon. Thanks so much for keeping up with me and my nails. Stay tuned dolls!

I like it one it's own. But I do love the pink crackle on top. and I want that bag! :)
Yes girl..this bag is so great for the summertime!
I love the way it looks on you with no crackle! I have this shade, and I just can't pull it off. I'll have to swatch it on my hand so you can see. lol
Also, layering another polish underneath is a great idea. I find these neons so hard to apply nicely!
Thanks Barbie!!! I think using the white polish underneath really helped!
