I am so excited about the theme for this week in the Nail Fanatics forum...CORALS! You guys know I've been saying over and over again how I've been on a coral kick lately. I just love the way this shade looks on my skin. As soon as I saw this theme I knew I had to put on
Cult Nails Captivated. This color is nothing short of amazing! Its definitely unique in my stash. Maria (creator of
Cult Nails and the
R3Daily blog) describes it as
a coral jelly polish packed with intense gold and coral glitter. The formula on the jelly was a lot thicker than that of the Cult Nail creme polishes that I've purchased. It did gloop (I know that's not a word...but I'm sure you know what I mean) a little at the tips on the first coat, but evened out nicely with 2 coats. Because of all the glitter, a top coat is needed to smooth it out. I applied a thick coat of
Seche Vite and all was well. The brushes on these polishes are great. It fans and spreads out so perfectly across the nail. I must warn that tips show some balding in the pics, but there's barely any VNL (visible nail line) when just looking at it with the naked eye. Enough of me...here's Captivated.

The name is perfect...I'm captivated by this shade...I just cant stop looking at my nails. This is definitely some nail bling! I couldn't stop taking pics of it! I already know this color is going to get lots of wear...if I had a top 5 polish list, Captivated would be in it for sure. I had so much fun making the inspiration board above! I love coral and turquoise together...*thinking of my next outfit for date night with hubby*...
Have you tried any of the Cult Nails polishes???
