OPI Grape...Set...Match & Servin' Up Sparkle
Hey dolls, today I have for you one of the duos from the OPI Serena Williams Glam Slam England set. I know you've probably seen these by now...but you haven't seen them on me. :) My hubby is the sweetest...he's bought me each of the previous Serena duos, so I'm excited to try them out! I knew I would love Grape..Set...Match at first glance. Its a shimmery dark purple metallic that is just gorgeous to look at. Two coats were needed to make GSM fully opaque.
I am in love with this Grape...Set...Match! Its so pretty and shimmery. Servin' Up Sparkle is a clear topcoat full of silver and holographic glitter. I especially love the hexagonal glitter that is included...too bad that its kind of hard to spread it evenly on the nail. You just have to kind of roll with where ever it lands. This is one coat.
This is definitely a fun combo...it kind of reminds me of a starry night. I actually prefer Grape...Set...Match alone though. I'm sure Servin' Up Sparkle will get lots of play to jazz up an old mani.

I did not think I a) needed another sparkly deep shade purple. I ordered the set in the box thinking I might hold it and then sell it later on eBay. But my friend bought each of these outside of the box. Saw the purple on her and went nuts when I saw it in the sun especially. Not sure I will wear it after summer ends. But rushed to buy a bottle of each for me to use and put in my collection but hold on to the in the box collection for later selling if there is a post release market for it that is.
SOOOOO pretty! I actually have this mini collection, but I haven't worn it yet. I'm waiting until school is over for the summer but before the fall semester. A little treat to myself.
And I like the purple by itself too. I'm actually debating on whether to put servin up sparkle on more than one accent nail. You know, when I do wear this.

@beachgal...I thought the same thing at first, but there's just a little something different with the finish of this color that makes it special.
@BMR...I didn't know these came in minis!!! I like the idea of a Servin' Up Sparkle accent nail. I'm looking forward to your pics!
