Barielle Nail Strengthener Cream ~ Full Review

Around 3 weeks ago, I shared with you all here that I received the Barielle Nail Strengthener Cream to review. I've used the cream daily since then to see how it would perform on my nails. As mentioned before, I was experiencing some peeling, so I had high hopes for this cream.
Just to recap, the cream is supposed to help nails grow healthier and stronger while resisting splits, peels, and breaks. It did just that for me. Here are the comparison pictures.
I had a nice amount of growth over the 3 week period. This cream did wonders for the peeling issues I was having. I tend to get side splits as well and I didn't experience any of those. The major plus for me is that the cream can be applied over nail polish. Its truly an instant moisturizer to my nails and cuticles. I like that the cream comes in a tube so it isn't messy to apply and I can control how much I need. A little goes a long way, and even after 3 weeks of continuous use, I'm no where near finished with the 0.5 oz tube. I only had one issue with my right hand where 2 nails broke, but that was during a bowling outing so it was to be expected. Those nails are already growing back nicely.

Truthfully, the only downside I can come up with for this cream is that the larger size (1 oz.) is not in a tube as well. When my nails are long, I dislike having to dip creams out of jars because it gets under the nail. I definitely plan to purchase the cream again during my next Barielle purchase. Hopefully that will be when the fall/winter collection is released. I 'm also interested in the cuticle oil because I've never used one before.

Have you tried this cream before?!?

Barielle Nail Strengthener Cream (0.5 oz, $10) can be purchased from www.barielle.com and at the Barielle Facebook store at www.facebook.com/barielle. *All products featured in this post were sent by PR for review*

You will love the oil. It really is for night time - last thing after you get into bed - or when you can sit for a 20 mins session and not have to do anything with your hands to really let the entire process sink in and work the best.

I am so glad you got back to folks about your 3 week results. I have sworn by this treatment cream for eons now...forget LUSH and other hyped products - none beat this. Also, get the Barielle Intensive Nail Renewal Oil...I have used both products for years and tried others before and in-between and none work like these 2 products...strong nails - no pealing - growth - fab! I did not know until just this year when I was reading the description on either the Barielle Intensive Nail Renewal Oil or the Strengthening Cream that the 2 are SUPPOSED to be used together...and since I have done that - wow - what fab results. I don't alternate nights now with each product like I used to do. It's even better now using them both together - and when you apply the oil, it does NOT break down the strengthening cream at all. That surprised me as we all know how when you apply one oil or another lotion or cream over another one - the 2nd 'eats' the first one as if it never was on. That's NOT the case with these 2 Barielle products - they both are there, felt as being there and both working. I advise those ordering not to get the strengthening tube but to order it in the pot - you get tons more and it will last you a yr to use up one pot typically or close to 1 yr if not longer for some. Also, with the pot you take just what you need and cannot do that with the tube.

Great results! I am currently using mine and seeing how it works for me, it seems like I will have good results. I also have the same peeling issue.

I bought the larger size too and I got the tube from Dest in a swap. Now that I have been using the tube one, I am not looking forward to using the tub of the larger sized one lol It would be nice it they had it in a tube as well. I just started using it a week ago but your review of it made me order the big one lol

And I have that oil that beachgal mentioned. I got it and the topcoat for for $7 from Marshalls! I will have to try it the way she uses it.

I keep hearing people say they found Barielle treatments at Marshalls. I need to check them out.
