Cult Nails Enigmatic

Hey dolls, as much as it pained me to take off In A Trance, I wanted to try another color from the latest Cult Nails collection. Enigmatic is a gorgeous shade of deep purple that flashes shimmers of pink, purple, red, and blue in the sunlight. The formula for this one was much thinner than what I'm used to from Cult Nails. It wasn't problematic, but I did have to be more careful with my application. I must warn that this color does not look like much with one coat...the magic happens when you apply the second.

Enlarge to get a closer look at the shimmer!
This is a really gorgeous purple. The pink shimmer really makes it stand out in my collection. I wanted to add a plaid accent nail, but that was a fail. So of course I feel back on my handy dotting tools. The dots were done with Cult Nails Devious Nature, one of my favorite pinks.
Super simple and fun. I adore pink and purple together! If you're liking these colors, head on over to Cult Nails. Using the code TEMPTALIA, you can receive $5 of your $40 or more purchase until the end of the month.

Just a reminder, you only have a few hours left to enter my Teal Toes giveaway if you haven't already. It closes at midnight eastern time tonight!

This is definitely a great shade a purple...not too dark and not too light. We lucked up in FL and Irene passed us by. We've got our hurricane supplies ready though.

Thanks for the code! I also like this purple as opposed to tons that I have purchased that are too dark. I only really need one really dark purple and a purple/black in that range. But each of us are different. If it were a fuchsia/magenta, I would say I need it even if they are very close in color. I enjoy those shades tons and do appreciate the tiny differences. That's what makes us purple, green, blue, red, pinks, brights, darks all in one huge nail polish pot - ewwweeee - that would be a really ugly water marbling now that I put it into my mind that way!

Yeah to Teal Toes! I have seen a few teals on line this week I so want to add to my stash for the month of Sept. I need to head to Sally's and see if I can find some shades of Stripe Rite that look good with my teals I have (or ones I am going to count as in the teal family) for our Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.

Hope all of you in the eastern US states that are in the possible path Irene might take, are getting prepped. Odd week back there - earthquake and not a hurricane that is so strong going up the Atlantic coast line so far. Keep safe all your painted ladies and gents!

I like this purple. My dark purple is way too dark. This is just right.
