Happy hump day! For this Pink Wednesday I knocked out two more untrieds by doing a jelly sandwich mani. I started with
OPI Do You Think I'm Tex-y? I only have this color in a mini bottle, but I definitely want to invest in the full size. OPI minis are just so darn awkward to use and so tiny. I could barely hold any polish on the brush. The color is an amazing berry pink. This is two coats.
I absolutely love jelly finishes! For the next part of the sandwich I added one coat of
Milani Disco Lights. This is a light pink glitter suspended in a clear base. It was not hard at all to get the glitter dispersed all over the nail.

the sun was starting to go down :( |
Now for one more coat of Do You Think I'm Tex-y? to complete the jelly sandwich.
I absolutely love the way this came out. I don't know why I've never tried a jelly sandwich before...it was super easy. The
jelly sorbet polishes from OPI dry relatively quickly so I was able to add each layer right after another. I'm looking forward to trying this again.
Have you done a jelly sandwich before??? If so, what was your favorite combo???
I love this look!!! I have to try a jelly sandwich soon! :D
ReplyDeleteLooks really nice! The color suits your skintone very well!
ReplyDeleteI need to try another jelly sandwich too! I got a few jelly polishes that are just waiting for another sandwich mani :)
Looks jelly-lious. I need to give this look a try :)
ReplyDeleteLove the jelly sandwich! Awesome look.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! Hope to see pics when you guys put together your jelly sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I have done a layer of too hot pink then teenage dream then another too hot pink before. It looked pretty awesome.
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteI like the sandwich idea a lot! Thanks! I am going to copy you on that one as I get really tired of the glitter on in 2 days max and want it off...so I just end up not using glitters that much - plus so darn hard to take them off! Maybe if I can sandwich them, I will like it better.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies for your comments!
ReplyDelete@beachgal...glitter is not my fav finish (I hate removing it too) so I like the depth that the sandwich gives it. I'll report back on removal...I should be taking it off tomorrow probably.
