Birthday Fun

Hey dolls, I just wanted to share some photos with you all from my birthday adventures. The pre-birthday celebration started with meeting some friends for dinner then going going to a party at a lounge. I found this super cute dress from the Banana Republic Outlet store last month. My Glitter Gal Dark Purple Sparkle nails complimented the dress perfectly. The shoes were purchased from Aldo in a haul earlier this summer, but I never got around to wearing them. Luckily they were pretty comfortable.

I adore dresses with pockets! We had a pretty good time, even though the music wasn't that great. On Friday, my actual birthday, I went into work for a few hours and then it was time to start celebrating. Several friends were in town for the homecoming festivities, so excitement was all around. Here was my outfit for the evening.

 I even wore makeup and my contacts, which does not happen very often.

 It has pockets too!

I love the zipper and shoulder details on this cute BCBG dress that I found on sale in Dillards. I always like to compliment outfits with a pop of color, hence the mustard colored clutch. We went to dinner at Azu, an Asian-fusion restaurant, with a group of friends. Then it was time to party all over again.

The next day, hubby surprised me with a spa day. I got a pedicure, a massage, a cocoa butter wrap, and a little something else done. :) That evening we grilled, had some friends over, watched football, and played Michael Jackson The Experience. I was even surprised with a red velvet birthday cake!

My 27th birthday was awesome! Hope you all enjoyed the small peek into my world.
