Essie Power Clutch

Zara Terez, Rampage, Gustto, Balenciaga, Rebecca Minkoff

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, I've been wearing Essie Power Clutch all weekend, just like my girl BMR over at Doing My Nails. Our taste in polish is so similar! Power Clutch was the only color that jumped out at me from the Essie Fall Brand New Bag Collection. Power Clutch is a grayed out green creme that applied flawlessly. This has to be the best formula I've ever used on an Essie polish. It was almost opaque with 1 coat, but I did 2 to increase the depth. Excuse the flash of light in these pictures...apparently the sun was ultra bright because these were taken without flash.
I want a bag in this color! Power Clutch is very sophisticated and I love everything about it! I was going to add some nail art, but this color is just fine on its own. Did you pick up shades from this collection? I'm anxiously awaiting the Winter Luxe Effects line!

This looks 10x better on you than me. I'm so jealous of your nail length. :)

Is the Luxe Effect group going to be released in drugstores too or just the salon formula?

That's so funny that you say that about the length because I've been continuously trimming them down. My nails already grow quickly, but that Barielle Nail Strengthener Cream is no joke! I hope the Luxe Effects collection is in drugstores...I'm guessing it will be since the last few sets have been.

I really liked this fall collection from Essie - but not a fan at all of the next collection coming after this and out now - the winter 2011. I was going to get the red but picked up the bottle and it looked like about 10 I have already just another red brown.

Ooooo, yeah... Luxe Effects will be mine. As you know, I was more into Very Structured. I don't really go for dark colors too often because I'm so pale. They look really harsh on me. I actually did get the red from the winter collection, but it's because I like reds that lean blue, again, because they work best with my skin tone. I also love the name: Size Matters. LOL
