Happy Pink Wednesday dolls! Today I'm wearing the last 2 Barielles I received from the newly released shades. Eli's Magic is a hot pink that has a great jelly-creme hybrid formula. This color is highly pigmented! I was almost able to get away with one coat, but a few nails needed a second coat to even the polish out.
I love pinks that are this shade! The formula on Eli's Magic alone is more than enough reason for me to keep pulling it out this spring and summer. I decided to layer Shannon's Attitude, which is described as a jelly purple with foil flakes, over Eli's Magic. These aren't actually flakies as we would call them in the nail world; the pieces are more like holographic bar glitter. Shannon's Attitude also includes silver micro glitter. I applied two coats to get a sufficient amount of glitter on the nails and I didn't have much difficulty getting the bars to disperse evenly.
I'm not a huge fan of bar glitter, but this definitely looks like a party on my nails. The fuchsia shade that results from Shannon's Attitude and Eli's Magic is so pretty! I'm interested to know how Shannon's Attitude looks over a similar purple base. I'll probably wear it as just an accent nail in the future. You can purchase all of the Barielle polishes I've shown, along with many others here.
Are you wearing pink today? What are your thoughts on these shades from Barielle?
