Another great trend for this spring from Refinery29 is pastels. I adore pastel polishes, so I'm happy to see so many in spring collections that have been released so far. Here are a few of my new and old picks:
Hopefully the shades from the new Essie and Orly collections have great formulas, as pastels can be somewhat streaky sometime.

I have picked up some of these shades already. I am insane over the new Revlon Colorstay polishes that they 'say' will last up to 11 days. I get 9 days out of them. But I really challenged them this week using their pastel Buttercup (yellow)...actually a pastel yellow I can finally wear - a first for me! Streaky like most pastels and you cannot do coats over wet ones like I tend to do with all my other shades to get through my polish jobs faster. I bought 3 of the new Essies and a fab blue out of the DG Electropop collection that I saw on blogs and just knew I had to have it. I could not wait to try them and still stretch on with my darker winter shades now....and with just about any shade goes now when it comes to polish - who needs to wait for 'season?" I adore the lavender in the new Essies - not like any lavender I have - also not streaky. Love the green too from the new Essies...it's got some yellow in it and finally a green that is not dark or not a sage or army green!

I haven't tried any of the Color Stays yet but I'm glad to hear they last so long!
