Hi dolls, I hope that you all enjoyed the holiday weekend and got some great deals if you did any shopping. All of my purchases were online. I don't do massive crowds and Black Friday...but I will stay up til midnight or wake up at 5a to be the first for an online purchase.

Today I'm wearing a color that I was really excited about, but was somewhat of a letdown...Orly Androgynie. Androgynie is a sheer black jelly that is filled with gold glitter particles and multicolored hexagonal glitter. After hearing how sheer this polish was, I decided to layer it over Wet n Wild Black Out. The formula was fine and Androgynie applied well. This is two coats of Androgynie over one coat of Black Out.
I included the last picture to show how much glitter is just sitting at the bottom of the bottle, which is the part I was most excited for when I saw this polish. The multicolored hexagonal glitter makes this color unique from all of the other black shimmers, but the glitter just seems to get lost within the polish. I don't hate it, but I definitely don't love it like I thought I would.

What are your thoughts on Androgynie???

I passed because it didn't have enough glitter in it (for my taste).

You made a good decision...it's a little underwhelming for me, and I'm not super huge on glitter.

I agree with you. It looks amazing and super interesting in the bottle, but every blog post I've seen of it makes it seem so much less interesting on the nail. I'll definitely be passing on this one.

I've heard some people say that they store the bottle upside down for the glitter to move to the top. Even though that's simple to do, I feel like I shouldn't have to perform tricks to get a polish to work.

It seems pretty meh unfortunately because yes, in the bottle it looks amazing.
