Hey dolls, today I'm wearing Essie She's Picture Perfect. I immediately wanted this polish based on the description. She's Picture Perfect is a lilac polish filled with pink shimmer. Unfortunately on the nail, that shimmer wasn't very apparent. The formula was a little streaky and did not self-level that well. I applied two thick coats to get rid of the streaking.

Shame about the shimmer. I've had it happen too many times that the beautiful shimmer in the bottle is what sold me on a color, only to find that it does not translate at all to the nail.
Definitely a shame. I guess they all can't be perfect.

WOW. My Walgreens never puts any Essies on sale ever.
I also like you, was disappointed that yet again, Essie gave us another polish that the shimmer does not translates to the nail. What I have done is put a layer of one of last year's Revlon scented Fizz colors after my first coat and then add another coat of this Essie shade. It wets my appetite seeing that shimmer and I WANT it on my nail. Lovely shade of lavender on this one.
