Birthday Nails with Glitter Gal Dark Purple Sparkle

Hey dolls!!! Today is my birthday and I wanted to wear something extremely special for my 27th! Glitter Gal Dark Purple Sparkle is exactly what the name says. Its filled with scattered holo particles and sparkles like you've never seen. As I stated in the review for Silver Sparkle, the bottles are only 9mL so the brush is smaller than usual, but not problematic. The formula was awesome and full opacity was achieved with 2 coats. All photos were taken outdoors in the sunlight.
I know that was a lot of photos, but this polish deserved it. What I love the most about the Glitter Gal Sparkles is that they are not only fabulous outdoors in the sunlight, but they also look pretty spectacular indoors as well. Dark Purple Sparkle takes on the look of a great purple shimmer, which you know is my favorite finish. The true purple base is gorgeous and I think its one that will flatter most skin tones. Looks like I may have been converted and have joined the holo train. I'll keep you all posted on that...if only they could all look like this.

I've got big plans for the weekend...its homecoming at one of the local universities and I have some friends coming into town. Nails on deck, wardrobe on deck, its going to be a great one! Happy Friday dolls!!!

Glitter Gal is an Australian brand, but can now be purchased in the U.S. from Llarowe here. She also has a great facebook page. Check it out and let her know that I sent you.

Glitter Gal S707 Silver Sparkle

I was extremely excited when Llarowe reached out to me about reviewing a couple of Glitter Gal polishes! The first one I'm wearing is Silver Sparkle, which is packed with scattered holographic particles. The formula was really great on this polish. Because the bottles are smaller than the regular size (3oz.), you should also expect the brush to be smaller. The brush applied the polish right where I wanted it to go and I barely had to do any clean up. Silver Sparkle is relatively sheer after one coat, but I achieved opacity at 3 coats. All pictures were taken in natural sunlight prior to using top coat. Click on each picture to enlarge it and get a closer look.

This polish reminds me of a silver glitter pump, which I so desperately need, hence the inspiration board above. I don't usually go for holos or for silver polishes, but I'll make an exception for this beauty.  Once you step outside into the sunlight, the bling comes out! Even as I type this post, I find myself moving my hand around trying to get a glimpse of the holo. I have a feeling I'm going to like the other polish, a purple holo, even better!
