Loreal Owl's Night

Hey dolls, I don't know what my deal was but I wore Glitter Gals Silver Sparkle for 3 days before I finally decided to take it off. I guess I really did like it. I wanted to go darker, so now I'm wearing Loreal Owl's Night. This is the color that I was most excited about when I saw the Project Runway Colors Take Flight collection. Owl's Night is a very unique color that's somewhat hard to describe. The base appears brown in some lights and its filled with a coppery-golden shimmer. In other lights, you can also see some murky olive green tones. I'm impressed with both Loreal's formula and brush. There were no issues here at all. I could have gotten away with one coat, but I decided to do two to bring out more depth in the color.

I don't own anything like Owl's Night, so it's definitely a keeper. I've been staring at my nails since I applied it. If you haven't tried Loreal's polishes in awhile, I'd definitely recommend checking out this collection.

What are your thoughts on Loreal polishes?

Snakeskin Stamping with Julep Sienna

Hey dolls, this is just a quick post to show you some semi-successful stamping that I did over Loreal Cockatoo's Mystery. I used Julep Sienna, an antique gold foil, and Bundle Monster image 215.

This is the first set of stamping that I'm actually relatively proud of! Far from perfect image transfers, but its decent enough to wear out. My right hand actually came out better. I love how subtle the colors are together. Sienna was so close to going into my swap pile because I didn't like the color on me, but its just perfect for stamping. Its very opaque and dries quickly.

What do you think of my stamping efforts???

Loreal Cockatoo's Mystery

Hey dolls, today I have a new release from Loreal called Cockatoo's Mystery. This is a really sophisticated gray that almost gives off a putty look on the nails. This color feels refreshing on my nails after wearing so many bright colors. The formula wasn't problematic at all. There was some balding on the first coat, but it evened out nicely with the second coat.

I love the purple undertones in this shade! Even though its a simple color, its unique in my stash and I can't stop looking at my hands. I found this color, along with Owl's Night, at Walgreens for BOGO 50% off. I haven't purchased Loreal polishes in a while, but in my opinion, I like this Project Runway Colors Take Flight collection way better than WnW's On the Prowl collection.

Have you seen any of the new Loreal polishes yet??? What are your thoughts?
