Zoya Gloss Collection

Brian Atwood, Wyatt

ShopStyle

Hey dolls! Today I have pictures of the Zoya Gloss collection. I was most excited about this set because they are all jellies and you all know how much I love a jelly sandwich mani!

Paloma is a deep fuchsia-berry jelly. It had the best formula out of this collection. Three coats of Paloma were used in the pictures below. The visible nail line is much more apparent in the pictures than it was in real life.
I then sandwiched two coats of Orly Spazmatic between another coat of Paloma. Spazmatic is a blue hexagonal glitter that also has a blue-violet shimmer. These two looked great together!
Zoya Frida is a dark, warm-toned teal blue jelly. I was most excited about this shade because it is not one we typically see in a jelly formula. Frida's formula was the most sheer and problematic. Five coats were used in the pictures below. Luckily, Frida dried relatively quickly so I did not have to wait long in between coats.
For the jelly sandwich, I added one coat of Milani Hot Pink and another coat of Frida. Hot Pink is filled with silver and pink hexagonal glitter. I wore this combination for several days and it garnered lots of compliments.
Katherine is a dark red-toned aubergine. This shade was just okay to me. Four coats of Katherine were used in the photos below.
I have wanted to attempt a jelly sandwich using flakies for awhile, so I pulled out Zoya Chloe. Chloe is from Zoya's Fleck Effect collection and is a sheer pink base filled with flakies that flash red, orange, gold, green, and blue. Two coats of Chloe were used and then an additional coat of Katherine.
I love all of the jelly sandwich combos that I came up with! If you are a fan of jellies, you will probably want to add a couple of these to your collection. Frida and Paloma were my favorites. Zoya polishes can be purchased for $8.
Only one more fall Zoya collection to go!

Pink Wednesday ~ Sinful Colors Cream Pink & FingerPaints Flecked

La Mer, Vince Camuto, Michael Antonio, Band Of Outsiders

ShopStyle

Hi dolls, today I'm wearing a gorgeously blinding pink from Sinful Colors. Cream Pink is a hot pink that is filled with shimmer (very oxymoronic huh). It has a jelly-creme hybrid formula that applied flawlessly. I'm not sure which collection this is from, but it appears that new Sinful Colors are popping up everywhere (they're also on sale for $1 at Walgreens right now). Cream Pink dries to a semi-matte finish and is a shade lighter on the nail than in the bottle. I used two coats for opacity.
Cream Pink is gorgeous! Pinks like this are great for the warm weather. As I continue to go through my untrieds, I decided to use FingerPaints Flecked. I've never applied a flakie over pink, so I wanted to try it out. Flecked has flakies that flash blue and green. I applied two coats over Cream Pink.

This combo looks so much better in person than it does in the pictures. I couldn't capture the blue-green flash on camera, but it is definitely apparent in real life.

Are you tired of flakies yet?

Classics 3D Effects Purple

Hey dolls, are you ready for more purple? Today I have another international beauty for you from Classics 3D Effects. Purple (I really dislike that these polishes don't have names) is filled with holographic glitter particles and flakies that flash orange, red, and a little bit of green. The formula is great to say all of those elements are thrown in the mix. Two coats were used for full opacity.
you can see a tad bit of the green flash in the shade
I love that these Classics polishes take all the work out of layering multiple shades. Unfortunately, the holo glitter does not show up as well on the nail as it did with the Pink version. Either way, this is still super pretty!

Any of my international dolls own other Classics 3D polishes???

Barielle Elle's Spell

Tryst, BCBG MAX AZRIA, Michael Kors, Menbur

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, I decided to layer Barielle Elle's Spell over Cotton Candy. Most pictures I've seen of Elle's Spell are over black or red, so I wanted to see if it would look any different over pink. Elle's Spell is a red jelly that's filled with flakies that shift to red, gold, and orange. The formula was not problematic at all and I layered two coats over Cotton Candy.

I previously owned Elle's Spell about a year ago, but I didn't layer it over anything. I really didn't like the way it looked, so I swapped it out. I'm liking this much better the second time around! The flakies really stood out and the base looks more candy red over Cotton Candy.

What have you layered Elle's Spell over?

Barielle polishes can be purchased here and are currently BOGO 50%. They also have contests and special promo codes on their facebook page.

Zoya Dree & Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed

BCBG MAX AZRIA, Nine West, Mango, Tibi

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, today I'm wearing a gorgeous layering combo. I started with two coats of Zoya Dree, a gorgeous olive green that looks just like camouflage. The formula was very easy to work with and applied very easily.
I really love shades of green like these. I find them to be complimentary to my skin tone. My Cult Nails order of Toxic Seaweed arrived last night, so I layered one coat on top of Dree. Toxic Seaweed is a hunter green jelly that is filled with green glitter and flakies that change from gold to orange.
Simply put, this is gorgeous! It's just the right amount of glitter and flakies and this is only one coat! Maria and her daughter know just how to make colors that are one of a kind. If you're interested in Toxic Seaweed, you may want to hurry and order this limited edition polish. Maria has stated that the flakies needed to make this polish are no longer in stock, so you don't want to miss out on this one like so many did for Unicorn Puke/Clairvoyant. At the time of this post, Toxic Seaweed is still available on the Cult Nails site. Cult Nails will be having a $5 polish sale when they reach 5000 likes on facebook, so make sure you go and like the page.
