Pink Wednesday ~ WnW Jelly Sandwich

Happy hump day dolls! Today I'm wearing a pink jelly sandwich that was inspired by Tamala, a polish friend. I started with two coats of Wet N Wild How I Met Your Magenta, a pink jelly that is filled with gold shimmer. Next, I added one coat of Wet N Wild Party of Five Glitters and another layer of How I Met Your Magenta.

I love the way this turned out! I've been wanting Pretty & Polished Chelsea Chelsea Bling Bling for awhile, but I never seemed to be quick enough when it came to purchasing it. When Tamala got CCBB, she compared it to the combo above. I had no idea that How I Met Your Magenta was a jelly. I immediately went to Walgreens and picked this shade up for $.99. While the shades of pink are a little different, it satisfies me for now. Hope you all are having a great week so far!

WnW Tangled In My Web

I wanted to see how ManGlaze Lesbihonest looked glossy (and I'm trying to use more of my untrieds), so I decided to add two coats of WnW Tangled In My Web. Tangled In My Web is a clear base filled with black glitter. This polish was so hard to spread all over the nail. I had to dab the brush in certain areas to get more glitter all over the nail. The clear base was also very thick, so I feel like I have six coats of polish on.
Meh...I'm not crazy over this. It looks okay, but I would prefer it if the glitter wasn't so sparse. It just looks like something is missing. Maybe I need Nubar Black and White Polka Dots to make up for my dislike of Tangled In My Web.

On the otherhand, Lesbihonest looks awesome glossy! I'm so ready to wear this one again (minus Tangled in My Web).

WnW Believe Me, It's Real

Hey dolls, today I'm wearing one of the new glitters from the limited edition Wet n Wild Ice Baby Collection. I was lucky enough to find 2 sets of this entire collection at Walgreens a couple of weeks ago and I cleaned out the entire display. That was my first time ever doing that...guess I'm really a fanatic now. We typically don't get any of the LE WnW in Florida, so I had to capitalize. I've since swapped all except four colors that I wanted for myself. Believe Me, It's Real is the color I was most looking forward to wearing. It is a deep blue glitter that is packed with specks of purple glitter. The color applied well and was opaque with 2 coats. My only complaint is that this polish is the worst top coat eater I've ever worn. It dries to a very rough finish and I applied two coats of Nubar Diamont. I refused to keep wasting top coat on a polish I was only going to wear for 1-2 days, so I stopped there even though it's not totally smooth.
This polish has a major bling factor! All of the pictures above were taken without flash in the sunlight. It's not a shade for the faint of heart. I got several compliments and a few "man, that's a bright polish" comments. I'm dreading removal later today though.

Were you able to find any of these shades?

Nail Fanatics ~ Wet n' Wild Caribbean Frost

On one of the forums that I frequent, LCHF, there is a Nail Fanatics sub-forum where each week there are themed manicures. The theme for this past week was teal. Enters Wet 'n Wild Caribbean Frost. This is an awesome teal shade! The formula was easy to apply and I didn't have many issues with visible polish strokes as you sometimes do with a frost. This is 2 coats of Caribbean Frost without a top coat. Here are some pics:

It was really hard to capture the green undertones in this shade, but hopefully you get a good feel for it. This shade definitely reminds me of the Caribbean waters and our recent honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Here are a few pics below. :)

Drugstore Haul...Sinful Colors & Wet n Wild

After hearing on one of the nail forums that Walgreens had their entire stock of Sinful Colors on sale for $.99, I had to make my way there. I was glad to see that Wet n Wild polishes were on sale for $.69, so I threw in a couple of those too. Here's what I got:

Sinful Colors: Unicorn, Let's Meet, Cloud 9, Pink Forever, Forget Now, Happy Ending, Mint Apple, Nail Junkie, & Purple Diamond

Wet n Wild: Sparked, Wild Card, Night Prowl, & Caribbean Frost

Looks like I've got some swatching to do. Did any of you take advantage of this sale?
