I'm pleased with the way this turned out even though it wasn't my initial goal. Sometimes you just have to roll with it. I love this color combo and Saint George compliments Blossom well. Make sure you take a look below at what all of the other ladies have come up with!

Polish Days ~ Olympics
Hey dolls! The theme for this month's Polish Days is the Olympics. I'm a huge fan of the games. I've been watching it all from the very beginning. My favorites are track, gymnastics, swimming, basketball, and volleyball. I had so many different nail art ideas in mind when I first heard of the theme. I tried them all on nail wheels, but none of my ideas were speaking to me or turning out the way I envisioned. I decided to go with something simple and tried and true for me - dots. My inspiration was the three medal colors: gold, silver, and bronze. For the base, I used Orly Au Champagne. The dots were Zoya Goldie, OPI Your Royal Shine-ness, and Diamond Cosmetics Decadence. My index finger got horribly smudged as I was taking pictures, so they didn't make the cut. :)
Au Champagne is just the most gorgeous white ever! I love the way the dots turned out and how the design is not super literal. I'm looking forward to seeing what all of the other ladies came up with for this theme.

Polish Days ~ Jelly Sandwich
Hey dolls! I have joined an awesome group of nail bloggers who will be doing a themed manicured once a month in an event called Polish Days, which was organized by Polly Polish. This month's theme is the jelly sandwich. My long-term readers already know that I love a great jelly sandwich, so I was really excited about this theme. During my blogging hiatus last month, I heard about these awesome, inexpensive jelly polishes by New York Summer ($1.50-$2). A polish friend from a facebook group hooked me up with a bunch of them, so I knew I wanted to use one from this brand.
I started with two coats of New York Summer Hot Baby Blue, which applied with no issues. Next, I added two coats of Spoiled Trust Fund Baby. I had some difficulties getting the glitter in Trust Fund Baby onto my nails because the clear base was very thick and had to resort to the dabbing method. Finally, I added one more coat of Hot Baby Blue.
I love the way this jelly sandwich turned out! The color combination of glitters in Trust Fund Baby accented Hot Sky Blue perfectly.
Here are the other jellies I have from New York Summer. I love that these come in a larger variety of colors than just your typical pink, purple, and orange jellies. These can be found on Transdesign or at some local beauty supply stores.
