Reader's Choice Monday ~ China Glaze Immortal

Hey dolls! The winner for this week was China Glaze Immortal with 42% of the votes. This is a gorgeous gray with flashes of blue glass flecks. The formula was pretty good. I haven't used a China Glaze in awhile, so I forgot how long and thin their brushes are. I used two coats for opacity.
I was secretly hoping Immortal would win! This color is perfection! But of course I couldn't stop with Immortal alone because I also picked up Make a Spectacle from that collection. Make a Spectacle is a topper that is filled with iridescent glitter. The glitter is very dense and I had no problems getting it onto the nail.
These two colors compliment each other so well! I've been staring at my nails all day at work as the light reflects off of the glitter. I totally recommend this duo while the Wicked collection is still readily available at Sally Beauty Supply.

For this week's poll, I have three Butter LONDON's for you that I added to my collection during the Ulta BOGO deal. Please take a second to vote dolls!

Reader's Choice Mondays ~ The Hungry Asian Sneeze Breeze

Happy Monday dolls! I hope and pray that all of you who are in the path of Isaac remain as safe as possible. I'm thankful that northern Florida got passed over this time. The winner of last week's poll was The Hungry Asian Sneeze Breeze with 40% of the votes. Sneeze Breeze is a matte blue and black glitter. The base was relatively thin, but easy to apply. Sneeze Breeze dries to a textured finish, but was easily smoothed out with one coat of Nubar Diamont. I used one coat of Sneeze Breeze over Zoya Carey in the pictures below. I chose to use a light gray base in order to show off the glitter best.
I really like the way Sneeze Breeze looks over Carey. The fine blue sparkle is super pretty! I enjoyed wearing this combo for a few days.

I realized that I haven't worn any purple polish in some time, so I have three untrieds for you to choose from. Please take a second to vote. The poll will close on Friday, August 31.

Pink Wednesday ~ ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly + Pretty & Polished Custom Punk'd Up Betty

Happy Pink Wednesday dolls! I hope that all of you are having a great week. Today I'm wearing a combo that I'm not absolutely thrilled with. I started with ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly, which is a gorgeous charcoal gray matte. It is filled with silver shimmer. There is also a little blue shimmer that is apparent at certain angles. The formula of Fuggen Ugly was typical ManGlaze greatness. I used two coats in the pictures below. These are without top coat.
To include some pink, I added my custom order of Pretty & Polished Punk'd Up Betty. My version is exactly the same as the original, except it doesn't include the large white hexes. The formula was thick and goopy; it was almost as if there was too much base for the density of the glitter. This is one coat of the custom Punk'd Up Betty over Fuggen Ugly.
Eh...I'm not sure how I feel about this. Actually I am sure; I don't like it. I can't put my finger on what I don't like though. I'm not sure if it's the combination of the two polishes or if I just don't like the glitter. I like the size of the glitter and I've been looking for just pink and black, so I'm not sure why I'm not vibing with it. I may need to try the custom polish layered over white. On the other hand, I adore Fuggen Ugly. Look at how gorgeous the shimmer is with top coat added! Everything about Fuggen Ugly makes me happy.

I'm starting to get used to the light box pictures. Let me know your thoughts on them. Happy hump day dolls!

Clouds with Zoya Jacy

Arden B, Giles & Brother, Kelly & Katie, Mavi Jeans

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, today I'm wearing Zoya Jacy, one of the shades I got during the last Zoya promo. This is a magenta polish with red undertones that has a blue shimmer. It's a super gorgeous shade that went on flawlessly. I used two coats for full opacity.
I love everything about this! I don't have many polishes in the berry family, so I'm glad I picked this one up. To jazz it up, I decided to try one of Nailside's gorgeous clouds as an accent using this tutorial. I chose Zoyas Carey and Tallulah for the cloud colors.
This combo is so adorable! The clouds were super easy to make using the tutorial. Tallulah is a bright, shimmery blue that I can't wait to wear as a full mani.

Do you think you'll try a cloud mani?

SpaRitual Sacred Ground

Sondra Roberts, Juicy Couture, Rampage, Topshop

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, I just put on a polish that I'm in love with and I'm regretting that I only have a mini bottle of it. SpaRitual Sacred Ground is such a unique color. Sacred Ground has a gray base that is filled with gold, blue, and copper shimmer. It flashes so many different colors in the sunlight! The formula was easy to work with and I used two coats for full opacity. You will definitely want to click to enlarge these photos!
I took so many pictures of this polish! I love everything about Sacred Ground. It's definitely unique to my stash. I think I need a full bottle of this one!

Pink Wednesday ~ Essence Time for Romance

Kelsi Dagger, Chan Luu, Carole, Satine, D&G

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, I was in the mood for something cute and just a little girly after my last mani. I decided to go with gray and pink because I love how those colors compliment each other. I started with two coats of Barielle Coalest Day of the Year. This is a gorgeous gunmetal gray that is filled with silver shimmer. The formula was good and flowed smoothly onto the nail.
I then sponged Essence Time for Romance onto the tips and as an accent nail. Time for Romance is filled with fine and hexagonal glitter. I had no difficulties getting the hexagonal glitter dispersed over the nail.
This is much, much better! I'm loving all of my goodies from the Sweet Sugar giveaway!

Zoya Feel Collection

XOXO, BCBG MAX AZRIA, Jessica Simpson, Intermix

ShopStyle
Hey dolls, today I have pictures to show you from the Zoya Feel collection. The Feel collection consists of 6 neutral cremes that are perfect for the winter season. I love a good creme polish and Zoya never fails to disappoint me in this area. The formula on all 6 were thinner than what I've usually experienced with Zoya, but full opacity was achieved for each with 2 coats. Dry time was relatively quick and all shades had a nice, glossy shine.

Avery is described as a blond-beige and I've heard other bloggers describe it as being similar to liquid foundation, which I totally agree with. While a nice color, I did not like it on my skin tone. The sun was setting when I took these pictures, hence why they look different from the others.
Kennedy is described as a french beige and its pink undertones really came out. I'm a fan of this shade.
Kendal is described as a lavender beige. You can see just the slightest bit of purple in this shade.
Carey is described as a periwinkle gray. I love the dusty look of this shade.
Megan is described as a taupe gray and appears to be the purest gray shade on my nails. This is a great option if your looking for a nice light gray.
Kristen is described as a gull gray with a mildish blue hue. Love, love, love this and I adore the way it looks on me!
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with this collection. When I first saw the press release, I wasn't extremely moved, but they look really good on. My favorites were Kristen, Carey and Kendal. I wore those  for several days each and the wear was great. Zoya has been having lots of flash promos over the past 3 days, so I highly recommend you follow them on facebook or twitter to get yourself or a fashionable loved one some goodies.

Essie Power Clutch

Zara Terez, Rampage, Gustto, Balenciaga, Rebecca Minkoff

ShopStyle

Hey dolls, I've been wearing Essie Power Clutch all weekend, just like my girl BMR over at Doing My Nails. Our taste in polish is so similar! Power Clutch was the only color that jumped out at me from the Essie Fall Brand New Bag Collection. Power Clutch is a grayed out green creme that applied flawlessly. This has to be the best formula I've ever used on an Essie polish. It was almost opaque with 1 coat, but I did 2 to increase the depth. Excuse the flash of light in these pictures...apparently the sun was ultra bright because these were taken without flash.
I want a bag in this color! Power Clutch is very sophisticated and I love everything about it! I was going to add some nail art, but this color is just fine on its own. Did you pick up shades from this collection? I'm anxiously awaiting the Winter Luxe Effects line!
